Victorian Solar Rebate

Victorian households are eligible to receive a rebate for installing a solar PV system if they meet the following criteria:

• They are the owner-occupier of an existing property or the owner of a home under construction where the system is to be installed
• The owners have a combined household taxable income of less than $210,000 per year
• It is an existing property, valued at under $3 million (for an existing home or when construction is complete)
• property address has not previously received a solar panel (PV) or solar battery rebate under this program
• the property address has not had a solar panel (PV) system installed in the last 10 years

‍* you received a Solar Homes rebate and/or loan but have moved house. You can apply for another incentive at your new address as an owner-occupier if the property has not received these rebates before.

Pristine Solar will provide you with a written quote that contains the information you need to make an informed decision. We will also upload your quote into the Solar Victoria Portal which will enable you to start the online eligibility process.  You will receive an email notification informing you that your quote has been uploaded.  

To further reduce costs, owner-occupiers can apply for an interest-free loan, for an amount equivalent to their rebate amount.  An interest-free loan, matching the rebate amount, is also available for most solar panel (PV) applications.  In line with the existing rebate, the new interest-free loan can be applied up to an amount of $1,400. The loan is required to be repaid over four years, or can be repaid sooner in one lump sum.
